Anulekha Prasad
PhD Candidate
Anulekha is currently working on constraining the liquid-liquid phase transition in aqueous fluids occurring at high pressures. Under Professor Redfern’s supervision and guidance, she will also gain the necessary experience in high-pressure techniques and synchrotron techniques to assist with her current research. Her previous experience includes analysing enstatite chondrite meteoritic rock phases with SEM, EPMA and XRD to assist with classification of the sample. Furthermore, thermal ionisation mass spectrometer analysis was undertaken to calculate the age of the rock and noble gas mass spectrometry to calculate the cosmic ray exposure age.
