Dr. Sasithorn Chornkrathok

Dr. Sasithorn Chornkrathok received her Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 2023. She is a mineralogist and mineral physicist specializing in the analytical approaches for asbestos detection, identification, and quantification.

During her M.Sc. at the University of Hawaii, Manoa, she explored the role of Ni phosphides under high pressure. Her research focuses on enhancing the precision and accuracy of asbestos analysis and understanding the behavior of minerals under extreme conditions.
