Dr. Siyu Liu is primarily engaged in the exploration of novel materials and their properties through structure prediction methods.

Her current research also extends to crystal structure predictions of minerals, particularly those relevant to Earth's interior, and investigating the interactions among these minerals using ab initio simulations.
