Dr. Chin-Hsien Cheng is interested in climate change and earth system feedbacks, in particular carbon cycle and methane feedbacks.
Using normalized information flow, he causally quantifies the causal contribution from climate variables like temperature and precipitation to the atmospheric concentrations and/or flux of CO2 and CH4.
